With a background ranging from agency to government organizations, Ashley is a creative and strategic marketing leader with nine years of experience. Her journey spans the full spectrum of marketing and communications.
As a copywriter, she contributed to brand development, advertising campaigns, and strategic planning for clients like Sony, Astroglide, and The Mirage Hotel & Casino. While naming businesses and lending taglines to household brands was exhilarating, she found herself seeking a sense of fulfillment and yearning to lend her skillset to advancing social justice and equity.
She looked to the non-profit sector to find her mission. Since then, she has led digital initiatives as well as content strategy and development for Planned Parenthood. In addition, she has collaborated with the California Department of Public Health to implement modern marketing strategies and eliminate barriers of access through design-thinking for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program.
When Ashley is not imagining solutions, she enjoys taking boxing classes, relaxing with her dogs, and discovering new places.
